I recently participated in a wonderful collaboration with Constellation and Co., called The Cosmic Sans Project. Twenty-six artists and designers came together to create a series of 26 space and sci-fi themed typographic art prints. Each framed print will be sold via silent auction to benefit the Greenwood Space Travel Supply Co. and 826 Seattle, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center for children. You can see many of the submissions for The Cosmic Sans Project right here.
Salada Tea, a project I created for my package design class, was just featured on The Dieline. Quite exciting! We were only given two weeks for this project, and I really think that kind of time constraint was a blessing. It made us focus and allowed us to make quick and methodical decisions without over thinking anything.
The Dieline just named Marvelous Mischief Makers number 19 on their list of the Top 100 Package Designs of 2011. So cool, thank you Dieline!
The newest issue of Gallery Magazine just arrived in the mail and I'm really excited. A big thanks to them for featuring Marvelous Mischief Makers.
Since it's Monday, here's a picture to put you in a good mood...Pooh may look like a stuffed animal but he's the real deal.
Welcome to my new site (officially version 3.0)! Check back often, I'll be posting updates on my work and any fun findings along the way. Since this is my first post, I thought it would be appropriate to show how I got my start. If you've read my bio, it says I've been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon. Well, I really meant it!
